Not exactly radio friendly, but this Bangledash (A Milli) produced track gets the people going. A lot of wordplay here, but Rihanna continues to have strong tracks on her album. Talk That Talk in stores now.
This song comes from this American pop duo’s debut album, “Treats,” which was released back in May 2011. My coworker Colleen who brought this to my attention, and with a name like Sleigh Bells I was expecting Christmas music, except for the bell noise I was pleasantly surprised.
Undun is in stores today, and I recommend you pick it up. Still one of the most organic hip hop groups left, The Roots have managed to put together another fantastic album. I have to warn people, this is in no way filled with any instant radio singles, it even has four instrumental tracks on it. Instead you get quality, conscious music that tells a story. “Lighthouse,” is one of those tracks that actually has a catchy chorus you can get stuck in your head. Give it a listen, then go pick up the album.
A little Frank to make your Tuesday go by with some holiday cheer. Here is a Kaskade remix done all the way back in 2004, yet his label wouldn’t let him release it. Looks like St. Nick left us this one in our wooden shoes last night.
This album is shaping up really nicely, here is another track off Common’s new album, The Dreamer, The Believer, In stores December 20th. I have heard around 4 songs and I have to say it looks like we are in for a treat this holiday.
