The Ice Cream Man over a soulful beat? Check. Two heavyweight features? Absolutely. I will literally listen to anything featuring Andre 3000, its just a rule I have. But here we have not just 3 stacks but Jay as well. This sounds good, seems similar to a Kanye beat. Now if only Andre 3000 could call up Big Boi and get a new Outkast album finished. So far Andre has been on Drake’s, Lloyd’s, and now Jeezy’s album, how about he finally jumps on his own. Pick up Jeezy’s album December 20th, just in time for the holidays.

Avicii – Don’t Give Up On Us (Aylen &ThatMoment Remix)
Another Avicii mix? Why yes, his music is that good and he has been on fire this year. A clear example of this are the amount of people taking his work and mixing over and over. While there are some bad mixes out the the following one is pretty damn good. Check out “Don’t Give Up On Us (Aylen and ThatMoment Mix).”

Old Amica – New Start
There is something very soothing about this track from Old Amica. “New Start,” has a simple piano, guitar and vocal formula, but together they make a perfect combination for a great track. Old Amica is a two man group from Sweden, one from Stockholm and the other from Umea. Over the internet they have combined to form the group and put together a pretty solid body of work. Check out their soundcloud for more music: http://soundcloud.com/old-amica.

Dirty South – Alive (Tits & Clits Remix)
Dirty South is a Serbian born Austrailian producer who I first discovered with his remix of “Coming Home,” by Dirty Money. He has a pretty long list of hits and with “Alive,” he combined with Thomas Gold and Kate Elsworth. Then the Hungarian electronic duo, and this is really their name, Tits and Clits, took Dirty South’s hit, and really took it to another level. I remember my Dad using tits as an adjective all the time when I was younger, “that car is tits,” but you don’t hear that too often anymore, hopefully these Hungarians will make it cool again.

Avicii – Fade Into Darkness
Over the past summer I think I have listened to Avicii’s “Levels,” over a hundred times. Around the same time I discovered, “Levels,” I had another Avicii track called “Penguin.” It was another simple, yet addicting piano track with no vocals. This later came to be “Fade Into Darkness,” as well as “Collide,” by Leona Lewis. Originally Leona’s producer used the track without Avicii’s permission, however after a quick court dispute, he is now referenced as the producer. This just goes to show the versatility of his music. Check them both out and decide your favorite.

After watching a preview for the upcoming movie “Act of Valor,” I was not only moved by the preview, but also by the great song choice that narrated what I was seeing on the screen. That song is this Snow Patrol track from 2008 from their album, A Hundred Million Suns.

T-Pain ft. Lil Wayne – Bang Bang Pow Pow
I have to admit I have always liked T-Pain, he makes catchy hooks and songs, and adds that extra touch with his signature auto tune sound. His new album, Revolver, comes out December 6th, is already off to a good start with his current single, “5 o’clock.” He combines with the other half of “t-wayne,” for his latest song “Bang Bang Pow Pow.”

Dems – Down On You (Hannes Fischer Remix)
Eerie track with a great electric guitar riff. This is one of those funky songs that grabs your attention in a weird way. Kind of like how eating at Pizza Hut effects your body…nevermind that would be a bad way. I dig this song and how simple it is, give it a listen.

Drake – We’ll Be Fine
After having Take Care for the past week, I am starting to hit the replay button on several tracks. “We’ll Be Fine,” reminds me of “Uptown,” off of his So Far Gone mixtape. Except for the uncalled ad libs of Cash Money’s CEO, Birdman, this song is one of my favorites. I am still mad that he did not include “Club Paradise,” (previously posted on AOS) on the final album, but this is classic Drizzy.
