Not sure I can put my finger on it, but I like something about Kid Ink. He falls into the category of the likes of Roscoe Dash, and August Alsina. His new single, “Sunset,” is a nice summer jam for the car. Check it out.

Mario ft. Nicki Minaj – Somebody Else
Back from practically disappearing, Mario delivers an addicting R&B ballad featuring none other than Young Money’s queen. I have to say Mario never really followed up his 2009 hit “Break Up,” with anything substantial. That was before Gucci Mane’s ice cream face tattoo, and before Nicki exploded onto the Music scene. “Somebody Else,” is a nice return and should do well on radio.
José González – Crosses (Dinner Date Remix)
Fantastic remix to listen to after an extended weekend.
Mariah Carey & Miguel – Beautiful
Fresh off his Grammy win, Miguel has had one way ticket to the top. Producing and co-wroting, “Beautiful,” with his trademark sound and adding the queen of pop this can only guarantee a #1 hit for the both of them. Ever since, “All I Want Is You,” I have been a big fan, and hits like this and “Power Trip,” are propelling Miguel into R&B’s elite. This will be on repeat for awhile, look for this one to last the summer and be a classic.
Two Door Cinema Club – Spring (Anatomy Remix)
AOS favorite is back with a nice remix by Anatomy, to add something different to “Spring.”
Phoenix – Entertainment
Late post but had to make sure everyone is anticipating Phoenix’s new record, Bankrupt. Here we have, “Entertainment,” an upbeat title track that fills the void we have had since Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix. New album out 4/23.
