Big Boi ft. A$AP Rocky and Phantogram – Lines

Shuffle favorite Phantogram of “Don’t Move,” fame link up with Big Boi and A$AP for Billy Ocean’s next album.  This one is funky, spacey, and everything you would expect from an Outkast member.  Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumors in stores this holiday season.

Kanye West – White Dress

Off of RZA’s upcoming movie soundtrack, “The Man with the iron Fists,” Kanye returns to his storytelling roots and a more soulful production  I miss this Kanye, no autotune, no futuristic samples.  Let’s hope his next album follows this formula.

50 Cent ft. Too Short – First Date

I just can’t get enough of the G-Unit general himself going off over these boom bap soulful beats.  He brings along West Coast legend Too Short along for the ride.  I must admit I wasn’t a fan of him singing the chorus, but it has grown on me.  Street King Immortal coming soon.

Joe Budden ft. Lil Wayne & Tank – She Don’t Put It Down Like You

So much new music coming out, I will get some free time this weekend to update.  Just to clue you in, I am still listening to the Big Sean mixtape, the Slaughterhouse album and mixtape,  DJ Drama’s album, Miguel’s album, and even T-Pain’s new release.  Anyway here comes a single that was tucked away for a while but finally has seen the light of day.  Joe Budden comes through over a “Young Money” sounding beat along with Wayne and Tank.  Sounds good to me until Wayne comes on.

J. Cole – Get Free Coleworld

J.Cole doing what he does best right here, great lyrics over a Major Lazer beat who is responsible for Alex Clare’s hit “Too Close,” (that catchy song from the Windows Commercial), and he ends on a nice sample from Mr. Shakur.  Major Lazer is made up of Diplo and Switch who previously met while working M.I.A.

Calvin Harris ft. Florence Welch – Sweet Nothing

What a year for Calvin Harris.  “Feel So Close,” was the first song posted here on Always On Shuffle, and also the first time I ever heard of him.  Numerous hit singles and awards later, he is one of the top producers in music.  Here he partners up with the lead singer of Florence and the Machine.  Get ready to dance around the 1:01 mark.
