I just can’t get enough of the G-Unit general himself going off over these boom bap soulful beats. He brings along West Coast legend Too Short along for the ride. I must admit I wasn’t a fan of him singing the chorus, but it has grown on me. Street King Immortal coming soon.

So much new music coming out, I will get some free time this weekend to update. Just to clue you in, I am still listening to the Big Sean mixtape, the Slaughterhouse album and mixtape, DJ Drama’s album, Miguel’s album, and even T-Pain’s new release. Anyway here comes a single that was tucked away for a while but finally has seen the light of day. Joe Budden comes through over a “Young Money” sounding beat along with Wayne and Tank. Sounds good to me until Wayne comes on.

J.Cole doing what he does best right here, great lyrics over a Major Lazer beat who is responsible for Alex Clare’s hit “Too Close,” (that catchy song from the Windows Commercial), and he ends on a nice sample from Mr. Shakur. Major Lazer is made up of Diplo and Switch who previously met while working M.I.A.

What a year for Calvin Harris. “Feel So Close,” was the first song posted here on Always On Shuffle, and also the first time I ever heard of him. Numerous hit singles and awards later, he is one of the top producers in music. Here he partners up with the lead singer of Florence and the Machine. Get ready to dance around the 1:01 mark.

For Wiz’s next single off his upcoming album, O.N.I.C., he enlists newly signed R&B crooner The Weeknd. Sounding more like a Weeknd track than a Khalifa one, this combo works. Not sure if this will get much radio play but I like it.

Frank Ocean ft. John Mayer – Pyramids (SNL Version)
A little late in posting this because I was away for the week, but this is a classic performance by Mr. Ocean with John Mayer being ridiculous on the guitar solo at the end. All Frank can do is play Galaga and be impressed at the end. You can see he tries to play it cool, but had to crack a smile at the end.
