Curtis continues on his path to reclaiming his music status by teaming up with his record family member and hottest new artist to come out of the West, Kendrick Lamar. He unfortunately also features the next G-Unit artist on deck, Kidd Kidd. “New Day,” was alright, “My Life,” I feel could have had a cleaner sounding beat, But “We Up,” I believe he has something here. Street King Immortal is heating up to be something special, check out the unofficial video below.
Due to Lady Gaga not turning in her vocals on time we finally get to hear their collaboration via Gaga releasing a video for it, enjoy!
The first time I heard of Colin Munroe, was his version of Kanye’s “Flashing Lights,” and I was impressed by his vocal style and creative take on the track. Fast forward a couple years, and this Canadian has released a star studded mixtape, Unsung Hero (d/l here). Featuring appearances from Pusha T, RZA, Kendrick Lamar, and Cassie, this mixtape has its share of gems. Check out “Scars N Stars,” which features his “No Make-up,” co star Kendrick. Find both songs below.

Man this sounds good, Talib is back and he brought along two of the nicest newcomers to come out in the past couple of years. This definitely sounds like a Common beat, but the trio works well and delivers some nice conscious Hip Hop we have been missing.
I have been a fan of Kendrick ever since I got his album Section 80, he has a unique style and one of the reasons unfortunately why we will not see Detox anytime soon. “The Recipe,” definitely feels like a track meant for the delayed album, and you can tell Mr. Lamar definitely wrote Dr. Dre’s part as his flow is evident.
