After numerous delays, the much anticipated debut album from J. Cole is just around the corner. With the assistance of Trey Songz, J. Cole gives us a laid back beat that you would imagine came from a small club in Cuba or Miami. Also just leaked is his collabo with Jay-Z, “Mr. Nice Watch.” Mr. Cole not only is a writer but also produced most of his album: Cole World: The Sideline Story, which drops September 27.

Timeflies is a musical duo out of Boston consisting of two guys who combined all their favorite genres, pop/electro/hip hop/rock/dub step, to create a sound that is really a potpourri of all of them combined. “Turn It Up” is a great example of this with a very catchy pop like hook, combined with a little dubstep/electro flavor as soon as the beat drops. This is the 2nd single of their album The Scotch Tape which releases in just a few days. Expect to hear more from these guys…
