LMFAO – Sexy and I Know It

From everybody’s favorite party group, we bring you their latest single “Sexy and I Know It.”  They are not meant to be taken seriously, LMFAO just wants you to have a good time with their ridiculous lyrics.  Check out their video on youtube for some banana hammock action.  Sorry For Party Rocking in stores now.

2am Club – Every Evening

Yet another one to get your day going, this one with a more laid back feel. 2am Club is a group out out of LA that is a mix of pop/hip hop.  This one will definitely get that white boy head bop going, so if you like what you hear check out their debut album What Did You Think Was Going to Happen?

College – A Real Hero

The last song of the night comes from the ending credits of the movie, Drive.  The song is actually from 2008, from the combined effort of The Valerie Collective, and Electric Youth.  With an 80’s feel, this song has a catchy chorus and synths to match.  Also reminded me of Kanye’s song “Paranoid,” when I first heard it.  Time to jump in your Ferrari Testarossa and enjoy.

Morgan Page – In The Air

“In The Air,” has all the makings of club smash.  So much that remixes are already available.  Morgan Wolf Page is a electro house DJ from Los Angeles.  Born in Vermont, Morgan did a weekly show on the local radio station and signed his first record deal at 18 back in 1999.  His first notable hit was “The Longest Road,” which was later sampled by Young Money artist Jay Sean for the song “Written on Her.”  Check out “In the Air,” along with a remix as well as his first hit below.

Magic Wands – Black Magic (Crystal Fighters Mix)

Deviating a little from the norm, we bring you an old but new to you track from Magic Wands.  The group is composed of Chris and Dexy, who met on Myspace because a song that was posted on her page.  Chris was in Nashville, and Dexy lived in LA, so they began collaborating over the internet until Dexy packed up and moved to Nashville to write music together full time.  Below is a song and title track from their first EP, Black Magic.

Benny Benassi – Cinema

Good Morning, Good Morning Everybody!  Sorry had to say that to wake myself up.  It’s Saturday and I wanted to share some electro house music to get your weekend started.  Benny Benassi is an Italian DJ and producer, as well as a grammy award winner.  To be honest I remember hearing his hit “Satisfaction” back in the day but really never heard of his name till this year.  That’s because he has had two huge singles off his album, Electroman.  If you have gone out in the past year, there is no doubt you have heard “Beautiful People,” with Chris Brown or “Cinema.”  Below check out “Cinema” as well as a remix and his original hit that put him on the map.

Freestyle Friday: Drake – Dreams Money Can Buy

Well it appears we have another request off the hotline, and so as promised we deliver… more Drake!  This request comes from Gino, who is one of the only people I know who still works off the barter system.  He decided to exchange a pack of starburst, three lightbulbs, and his convertible for the day in exchange for his request “Dreams Money Can Buy,” the first single off Drake’s upcoming album Take Care, and a shout out to his girlfriend for her birthday.  And with that I say, “Happy Birthday Michelle” as well as deliver a few bonus tracks for your listening pleasure to cap off our first Freestyle Friday.  Thanks again to everyone who submitted a request, and keep them coming!

FREESTYLE FRIDAY: Chris Brown

Freestyle Friday continues, and Jessica from Fredonia is pretty pumped after attending the F.A.M.E concert and wants to here more Breezy.  More Breezy you shall receive, Jessica.  If we avoid the elephant in the room and disregard his personal life, Chris Brown is one hell of an entertainer.  This man is the closest thing we have to MJ, and even shares the legend’s history of controversy.  Below I give you a megamix of new and old, as well as some unreleased tracks.

Chris Brown – Forever

Chris Brown – Kiss Kiss feat. T-Pain

FREESTYLE FRIDAY: The Roots – The Fire

Yet another request for Freestyle Friday, this one coming from Doctor Kaiser.  Now, my friend Kaiser isn’t even close to being a real doctor, and to tell you the truth I really don’t know why we call him that.  It might be because his first name is a mystery to most, so people just call him doctor instead.  Anyways, I must say, he does have great taste in hip hop.  His choice today is from one of the greatest live hip hop groups of all time, the Roots, off of their latest album How I Got Over, and features John Legend.
